If you are visiting teamLab Planets Tokyo for the first time, the easiest station to use is Shin-Toyosu Station on the Yurikamome Line. The museum is only about a 1-minute walk away. Toyosu Station on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line is also convenient, but the walk is about 10 minutes.
This guide uses my own route photos from the stations and has been updated with the current 2026 access information. I also cover the paid shuttle bus from GINZA SIX, taxis, airport routes and what to know if you are thinking of driving.
Quick answer: use Shin-Toyosu if you want the shortest walk. Use Toyosu if the Yurakucho Line is more convenient for your Tokyo itinerary and you do not mind walking about 10 minutes.
The venue is at 6-1-16 Toyosu, Koto-ku, Tokyo. There is no dedicated teamLab Planets parking lot, so public transportation is usually the simplest option.
Best Way to Get to teamLab Planets Tokyo: Train and Walking
To get to "teamLab Planets TOKYO," you can either walk from the nearest stations, "Shin-Toyosu Station" at Yurikamome Line or"Toyosu Station" at Yurakucho Line.
From Shin-Toyosu Station: the easiest option (1-minute walk)
The most straightforward access to "teamLab Planets TOKYO" is from Yurikamome Line's "Shin-Toyosu Station."
After leaving the ticket gate at Shin-Toyosu Station, turn right and use the North Exit. The museum is along the sidewalk and is about a 1-minute walk from the station. You can already see the area clearly from the Yurikamome platform.
You'll see "teamLab Planets TOKYO" from train platform. There is only one gate located on the second floor. After leaving the ticket gate, turn right and go down the “1A” exit. You can already see "teamLab Planets TOKYO" on your right. Go down the stairs. After descending the stairs, make a U-turn. You'll see "teamLab Planets TOKYO" on your left.
From Toyosu Station: about a 10-minute walk
You can also access "teamLab Planets TOKYO" from Yurakucho Line's "Toyosu Station." It's about a 10-minute walk to teamLab Planets.
Walk straight through the space between "Toyosu Civic Center" on your right and "Yurikamome Line Toyosu Station North Exit" on your left. Go straight along the path following the overhead "Yurikamome Line" rails. Still keep going! You'll see Gas Science Museum on your left. 
When you find Nippon Rent-A-Car on your right side, it's almost there! Cross the traffic light. You'll soon see "teamLab Planets TOKYO" on your right!
5 steps from the station:
1.Exit Yurakucho Line's "Toyosu Station" at the "Exit 7."
2.After exiting "Exit 7," proceed straight ahead. You'll see the "Toyosu Civic Center" building and "Yurikamome Line Toyosu Station North Exit" right in front of you. Walk straight through the space between them.
3.Continue straight along the path following the overhead "Yurikamome Line" rails.
4.As you proceed straight, you'll see the "Yurikamome Line" rails above you to the left. Follow them.
5.After a short distance, you'll see the Fire Department, Toyosu Park, Gas Science Museum, Nippon Rent-A-Car, and more on your right. Keep walking straight, and you'll soon see "teamLab Planets TOKYO." GOAL!
If you are already at Toyosu Station, walking is usually simpler than taking a taxi. Exit 7 is the useful reference point: once you reach street level, follow the elevated Yurikamome tracks toward Shin-Toyosu.

Getting to teamLab Planets by Taxi
A taxi can be convenient if you are traveling with luggage or coming from Ginza or Tokyo Station. The current official guide gives an approximate journey of 10 minutes from Ginza and 15 minutes from Tokyo Station. From Haneda Airport, the official driving estimate is about 15 minutes when using the expressway.

Shuttle Bus, Parking and Other Useful Access Options
There is also a paid dedicated shuttle bus between GINZA SIX and teamLab Planets. The venue currently warns that public buses from Tokyo Station, Ginza and Tsukiji toward Shin-Toyosu can be very crowded, so rail or the dedicated shuttle can be easier choices.

Spot 1: Toyosu Market
Toyosu, where "teamLab Planets TOKYO" is located, is also famous for the relocation of the "Toyosu Market" from Tsukiji.
In addition to market tours, you can enjoy a wide range of Japanese gourmet foods, from sushi to tempura, eel, soba, Chinese cuisine, Western dishes, and curry.
It's recommended to stop by for lunch and savor these dishes.
Please note that Toyosu Market is open for entry from 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM but food area are open more.
Spot 2: Toyosu Bay Area
Toyosu is close to Ginza and offers a unique atmosphere with plenty of greenery, seaside views, and spacious BBQ areas.
It combines an urban feel with a resort-like ambiance, making it an ideal place for a walk or jog while taking in the scenic bay area.
